So here it is. My first b^2 post. (it took me an estimated 12 minutes to find the "^" on the keyboard. for future reference it is under the 6. I'm really nervous. Not a good start.) I always wanted a blog but never had the guts to create such a thing. Blogs, in my mind, have such esteemed, philosophical writers and are filled with people making amazing points. I am not an esteemed, philosophical writer nor do I make amazing points. I did however, think of somethings pretty creative the other day. For example..what if there were lowercase numbers!?...or...what if giraffes couldn't use their tongues to eat leaves, but only their really long hoofs??...But that is about the extent.
This isn't to say that this blog won't be successful. I won't deny the number of times I've nearly peed my pants, in a good/happy/joyous way, reading the facebook posts/texts and now blogs of my fellow b^2. When I think of a combination blog between us I get this really huge smile. You know those smiles where you forget that people may be looking at you and you should probably close your mouth and un-tilt your head but you just can't seem to get it together?(carol! get your shit together carol! first bridesmaids quote) Well it is one of those smiles. It's probably a really good thing I'm not writing in starbucks. I embarrass myself publicly enough...not that I'm complaining. It makes life so much more interesting and this is why I'm so stoked on this blog. So..as they say in show business, sit down, relax, and enjoy the ride. Do they say that in show business? Now I'm not so sure. Maybe roller coasters minus the first two demands? Roller coaster would probably be the best connection. We will have our ups and downs but it'll most likely be a good time ;). Anyway, to everyone who is reading this I would just like to say hey! and thanks for reading! We won't let you down...and if we do...well, we never said we were role models.
